Wellness & Spa
Cairngorms, Highlands Scotland
We are inspired by our beautiful surroundings, deep in the Scottish Highlands. Each of our bedrooms showcase panoramic views of the spectacular landscape, while the verdant countryside is home to a wide variety of wildlife, from Golden Eagle and Osprey to Red Deer Stag and Pine Martin, as well as an abundance of wild flowers, plants and trees.
We are proud that Natalie grew up in the area and are both passionate about our village and Dorset. Natalie joined The Acorn as Assistant General Manager in the summer of 2010, while Richard began at The Acorn as a General Assistant in 2010. We are delighted to now lead this wonderful team together and are always happy to personally help our guests with any requests, before, during and after their stay or visit to our beautiful inn.
I have worked in the hospitality industry since a young age, in a variety of different roles. I began working at The Acorn Inn over two and a half years ago and I have now been promoted to the position of Assistant General Manager. It is privilege to work here, as I have been able to develop my skillset and progress within the company.
I am delighted to work in the heart of the Dorset countryside and to have the freshest, sustainable, locally-sourced produce at my fingertips, as well as incredible ingredients from our kitchen gardens, to create delicious menus for our guests. Whether a nutritious and light salad at the spa or a special celebratory meal in our restaurant, we hope you will have an exceptional experience with us.
I started working at The Acorn Inn as Commis Chef after finishing culinary arts school in Portugal. After a year I was promoted to Pastry Chef and most recently to Senior Sous Chef. I feel incredibly lucky to have found The Acorn Inn - a place that not only allows me to work alongside a passionate, driven team, but that supports me in developing my career. I am looking forward to helping lead the kitchen team and to continue showcasing Dorset's beautiful, seasonal, and organic produce.
I started working at the Acorn kitchen in 2013. In 2015, I moved from the kitchen to the front of house team and soon developed a passion for service excellence and developing positive guest experiences. It has been a privilege learning and developing my knowledge about food and drinks over the past years, and I am excited to continue doing so as Food and Beverage Manager.
I am delighted to lead a wonderful team in the UK, taking care of our guests' reservations. Let us know whether you will be celebrating your honeymoon, birthday, or wedding. It would be our pleasure to oversee your bedroom allocation and put in a special request prior to your arrival. We can also organise any additional extras you may like such as chocolates, champagne and strawberries, which would be waiting for you upon arrival. We will ensure that your stay will be one you fondly remember.
